I had a great time visiting and painting in Arches and Monument Valley in Utah, such big, bold scenery, the epitome of an American Road Trip, made even more so by a classic, Airstream Trailer.
About Elizabeth Jose
Elizabeth Jose is a British artist living in Taos, New Mexico. Already an accomplished portrait artist, she was inspired by the breathtaking scenery of Taos to begin painting landscapes after moving here in 2005. Jose and her partner have restored a vintage 1966 Airstream trailer together and love taking trips to beautiful places as inspiration for paintings. She still paints from the model several times a week, enjoys painting landscape Plein Aire and working in the studio on whatever is catching her eye. Like a magpie, she enjoys painting shiny things and reflections. "I get such deep pleasure from beauty that I hope I can share that pleasure with others, through my artwork."
